The Zero Waste Ocean Skirt is for the occasions you want to feel a little more special, and for the days you simply want to feel good. Gathered and full, with enough structure to hold its shape, it dresses up for the theatre, a show or a fancy dinner, then takes you lightly through a summer day, lunch with friends or cocktails at sunset. When the weather turns stormy, wrap up in a warm orange top, a cosy jumper and boots, and it will hold its own against the grey.

The abstract watercolour print runs from pale grey blue through aqua and sea green, with deeper blues and greens, a hint of orange and fuchsia pink and small strokes of black, a little like the reflection of the setting sun on the water. It gives the skirt depth, light and shadow, and a story to tell.

The gathered shape is inspired by 1940s peasant skirts, with a wide waistband that sits close at the waist. Deep side pockets hold your phone, keys and a pouch with your lippy and a hanky, so you can leave the big bag at home. French seams make the inside as beautiful as the outside and strong enough to last for years, and a deep hem gives the skirt its weight. A side opening with natural corozo buttons keeps it neat, and the whole skirt is cut from a single piece of certified organic cotton poplin, printed with water based pigment inks, so nothing goes to waste.
